Looking for something different to do in Malta?
Forget the usual dinner.
Jungle Fire is a Spicy Chicken Wings Challenge featuring nine increasingly hot rounds, one €100 cash prize and one simple question: how much heat can you actually handle?
Hosted at The Room by Jungle Joy, the challenge brings together spicy food, competition, friends and the unmistakable Jungle Joy atmosphere.
The rules sound simple.
Survive the wings.
Survive the heat.
Be the last participant standing.
But with every round, things get hotter.
Nine Rounds. Increasing Heat.
The Jungle Fire Challenge consists of nine rounds of chicken wings, with the level of heat increasing from round to round.
The beginning might make you feel confident.
Then the sauces start getting hotter.
And hotter.
And hotter.
What starts as a chicken wing challenge quickly becomes a real test of spice tolerance.
Each new round takes participants another step into the world of chilli heat, fiery sauces and serious spice.
Making it through one round is easy.
The question is whether you can make it through all nine.
How Does the Jungle Fire Challenge Work?
Participants compete against each other through nine progressively hotter rounds.
Everyone starts together.
After each round, those who are still prepared to continue move on to the next level of heat.
Participants can stop whenever they want.
Eventually, only the strongest chilli lover remains.
The last participant standing wins €100 cash – plus the kind of bragging rights that are difficult to earn at an ordinary dinner.
There is no need to pretend you are okay.
If the wings beat you, they beat you.
That is part of the challenge.
How Hot Are the Wings?
Jungle Fire is designed around progressive heat.
Instead of immediately starting with the hottest possible sauce, the challenge becomes increasingly difficult as participants progress through the nine rounds.
Different chilli flavours and spicy sauces create a journey from manageable heat to the kind of spice that can completely change the atmosphere around the table.
Sweetness, chilli, acidity, seasoning and intense heat all play a role.
And as every chilli fan knows, there is a big difference between saying:
"I like spicy food."
and proving it several rounds into a hot wings challenge.
More Than Just a Food Challenge
Jungle Fire isn't only about eating extremely spicy chicken wings.
It is designed to be an experience.
Friends can compete against each other, spectators can follow the action and everyone gets to find out who really has the highest spice tolerance.
That makes it ideal if you are looking for unusual things to do in Malta, whether you live on the island or are visiting with friends.
Instead of another ordinary night out, you get food, drinks, competition and entertainment in the same evening.

And What About Jungle Joy Gżira?
If spicy challenges are not enough food for one week, Jungle Joy also has its home in Gżira, where the focus is on Thai-inspired food, drinks and the same relaxed Jungle Joy vibe.
Jungle Joy Gżira serves flavour-packed dishes inspired by Thai cuisine, including combinations of chilli, garlic, herbs, noodles, rice, chicken, curries and different sauces.
Thai cooking is all about balance.
Sweet.
Salty.
Sour.
Aromatic.
And, when you want it, spicy.
So whether you are searching for Thai food in Malta or something considerably more extreme like a hot wings challenge, the Jungle Joy family has both sides covered.
Can You Train for a Spicy Wings Challenge?
Regular chilli eaters may feel they have an advantage, but there is no guaranteed way to know how your body will react to increasingly spicy food.
The best strategy is not to treat the competition recklessly.
Eat normally beforehand, stay hydrated and listen to your body.
Most importantly, remember that there is no shame in stopping.
Jungle Fire is supposed to be challenging and entertaining.
You can end your participation at any time.
The €100 prize is nice.
Your body still gets the final vote.
Who Should Try Jungle Fire?
